The Parent & Potential Player Informational Meeting for 15s through 18s is scheduled for November 11, 2017, at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School (601 Maple Ridge Rd, Mosinee 54455) from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Information regarding the programs for the 15s through 18s age groups for the 2018 season will be presented at this meeting. If players and their parents missed the Informational Meeting for the 14s and younger age groups that was presented on September 24, you are welcome to attend this meeting, too if you would like more information about the Wisconsin Ice VBC or if you need clarifications regarding the upcoming season.
Wisconsin Ice VBC will be conducting two (2) Tune-Up Sessions for the 15s through 18s age groups to help them to prepare for their upcoming Tryouts. The first session will be held on October 29, at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School (601 Maple Ridge Rd, Mosinee 54455) following the Parent & Potential Player Informational Meeting from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The second session will be held on November 5, at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School on November 5, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. These sessions are open to all interested parties that are registered with USAV/Badger Region on Webpoint. If you played for Wisconsin Ice VBC or another USAV junior club last season, then your membership is good until the end of October, so you would not need to renew your membership for the first session. If you would like to participate in the second Tune-Up session, then you must either renew your full membership if you know that you will be playing for Wisconsin Ice for the upcoming season or pay for a Tune-Up or Tryout membership. You must show your USAV/Badger Region membership card and also pay a $10 fee at the door to Wisconsin Ice VBC for each of the Tune-Up sessions that you attend.
The Tryouts for the 15s through 18s age groups will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School in Mosinee (601 Maple Ridge Rd, Mosinee 54455) at the following times:

We thank all of the volleyball players that attended the 13s and 14s Tryouts and the All Call for the Chips and Shavings programs on Sunday, October 8. It was a very successful day with many talented players in the gym at all age levels.
We would like to thank Lynn Hintz, the Wisconsin Ice Team Parent Coordinator for the wonderful job she did coordinating the front registration area for the Tryouts. We also thank all of the parents that volunteered over the course of the day to make the Tryout process run as smoothly as possible for the girls that were trying out.
The offer and acceptance process has been completed for the 13s and 14s levels. The items 5 through 9 below apply to the 13s & 14s that accepted spots on teams and for the Chips and Shavings players.
All players must go back into the Webpoint on-line site where you registered with USAV/Badger Region and select “Wisconsin Ice VBC” as your Club in order to be a member of Wisconsin Ice for the 2018 season. You must also upgrade your membership to a full Junior Membership if you only signed up and paid for a Tryout membership. Those players in the Shavings program that are ages 9 to 11 will need to upgrade to a Youth Membership and those in the Shavings program that are ages 8 and under would sign up for the FREE Youth Membership. This must be completed in order for you to show up in the Wisconsin Ice VBC Webpoint roster.
All 13s and 14s, Ice Chips, and Ice Shavings participants for the 2018 season must stop at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School (601 Maple Ridge Rd, Mosinee 54455) on November 11, sometime between 10:30 am and 6:00 pm at the 15s through 18s Tryouts to try on your uniform for size so that these can be ordered for you. There will also be spirit wear on display throughout the day if you would like to try on optional spirit wear for size. The spirit wear order forms will be due at your first regularly-scheduled practice on December 3, to your Team Parent.
The first regularly-scheduled practice for all Wisconsin Ice VBC players will be on Sunday, December 3. The 13s and 14s will have their first practice on November 5, and possibly one or two other Sundays in November; however the two practices a week schedule will not start until December 3. The 13s and 14s will start earlier because of the earlier Tryout date this season. The venues and times for the first practices will be posted on the Wisconsin Ice website as soon as sites are secured.
