Wisconsin Ice VBC offers the optional opportunity for players and their families to purchase Wisconsin Ice spirit wear. The order forms for both the Wisconsin Ice spirit wear that was displayed at the 15s – 18s Tryouts and the spirit wear that can be ordered directly online from MADA are now posted on this website.

The spirit wear order forms should be turned in to the “Team Parent” for your team on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at your practice. Your check for the items that you purchase should be written to “Wisconsin Ice VBC” and should also be turned in with your order form.

The MADA spirit wear that you order online must be paid for with a credit card when you order your items. MADA will call you when these items are ready to pick up at their store in Stevens Point in the Portage County Business Park. These items must be ordered online by December 10, at 11:59 pm.

The suppliers of the spirit wear that you ordered will make every attempt to get your order to our Spirit Wear Coordinator, Kirstin Christianson, before the first tournament for distribution to you. Occasionally there are items that are backordered, so please be patient when waiting for these items.

Any questions you might have regarding the Wisconsin Ice spirit wear should be directed to Kirstin Christianson by e-mail message at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

We thank all of the parents and coaches that helped this past weekend at the Wisconsin Ice Tryouts and All Call. It was a very successful weekend and all of you contributed to everything running smoothly.

A special THANK YOU goes out to Lynn Hintz, Kent Thomas, and Kirstin Christianson for running everything so professionally outside of the gym.  These parents spent all weekend with us to ensure that the Tryouts process would be a great experience for the players. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people helping the Wisconsin Ice organization.

The Wisconsin Ice VBC West Bend Satellite Program for 15s and 17s is an independent program from the Wisconsin Ice VBC programs in Mid-Wisconsin. Please do not confuse the Tryouts and information on the website between the two programs. We have now added a page (West Bend Satellite Program) to the website exclusively for the West Bend Satellite Program teams that will have all of the information that is exclusive to that program. The Program Coordinator for the West Bend Satellite teams is Renee Altendorf and all questions regarding this program should be directed to Renee at 262-483-2245 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. It is preferable to send an e-mail message to her so that she can respond at her convenience.

Spirit Wear orders should be turned in to your Team Parent on December 4, at your practice. The price sheet and the order form are included with this article. Please make sure that you include a check for your order written to " Wisconsin Ice VBC". The MADA spirit wear items should be ordered on-line as stated on the flyer that is included in this article.

If you are ordering the hottie warm-ups at the over stock price, then they must be in the Wisconsin Ice stock. If your size is not available from the in-stock items, then you will need to pay the full amount for hottie warm-up items that need to be ordered.

The Tryouts and All Call this past weekend was very successful with the most talent we have seen for a Wisconsin Ice VBC Tryout. We thank all of the players for trying out for the Club. For those of you that received a blue team offer card, we ask that you contact us as quickly as possible as to your decision as to whether you will accept or decline your offer so that we will know if we can offer spots on our teams to those who did not receive a blue card offer at the Tryouts.

We ask that the players that did not receive an offer at the Tryouts to please be patient as we work through the offer acceptance or decline process. The players that participated on a Wisconsin Ice team last year, have to respond to their offer by 9:01 pm Tuesday, November 15, according to the Badger Region Volleyball Association rules. The players that received offers that did not play for Wisconsin Ice last year, have until 9:01 pm on Thursday, November 17, to respond to their offer. Please respond as quickly as possible out of respect for the players that are waiting to find out if they will receive an offer to play on a Wisconsin Ice team for the 2017 season.

Steps to Follow After Tryouts:

  1. If you received an offer to play on a team and you accepted it, go back into Webpoint, upgrade your membership to the full membership and select “Wisconsin Ice VBC” as your Club.
  2. If you did not receive an offer, please wait patiently until the Club receives responses to all offers that were given at Tryouts to find out whether or not you will receive an offer to play on a team.
  3. Mail your membership fee and the completed page 25 of the Handbook so that it is received in the mail before the first practice that is scheduled for November 27. Mail to:  Wisconsin Ice VBC, Jay Johnson, 2501 Springville Drive, Plover, WI 54467.
  4. Visit the website next week to find the practice schedule for November and December.
  5. Please see more detail below in this article regarding the above items if the steps are not clear to you.
  6. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail message to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Wisconsin Ice VBC will be sponsoring an optional fundraiser for the 2016 season for those players that need financial assistance to pay their membership fees. Only Wisconsin Ice VBC Players, who have paid their membership fees in full or who are on an approved payment plan, and their parents are able to participate in the optional Pizza Fundraiser that will be administered by Wisconsin Ice VBC for the 2016 season to assist you with paying your membership fees.

Danny Rozwadowski from Hansen Foods will be the Fundraiser Administrator for this Wisconsin Ice 2016 optional fundraiser. Danny will collect your pizza orders with one personal check written to "Wisconsin Ice VBC" on December 6, 2015, 1:00-3:00 pm, at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School in Mosinee. No third party checks will be accepted. Your orders must be hand delivered to Danny during the assigned time period at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School. Do not give your order to your Team Parent, Coaches, or Directors. It must be given directly to Danny.

The pizza order distribution by Danny will be held on December 13, 2015, 1:30-4:00 pm, at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School. All pizzas must be picked up during this time period. The cost for each pizza is $12. You write one check (no cash) to "Wisconsin Ice VBC" for all of the pizzas that you sell. The check should include $6 for each pizza that you sold and you keep the remaining $6 for each pizza sold to defray the cost of your membership fee.

We would like to thank all of the parent volunteers, the coaches, and the Coordinators for all of their hard work this past weekend at the Wisconsin Ice VBC Tryouts. We also thank all of the players that tried out for Wisconsin Ice VBC for the upcoming 2016 season. We were amazed at the number of players and the amount of talent that was in the gym at every age level. It is great to see that the level of volleyball in the central Wisconsin area has improved so much in the last several years!

Players that tried out and that did not receive an offer yet, we ask you for your patience as players that were offered respond to their offers. Several of the teams are full already with committed players; however we are waiting for some players to respond to their offers to complete a few of the teams. Players that did not play for Wisconsin Ice in the past have until Thursday at 9:01 pm to respond to their offer at which time their offer is null and void. We are attempting to do everything in our power to place all of the players that wish to play for Wisconsin Ice for the upcoming season.

Once you have received and accepted an offer to play for Wisconsin Ice VBC for the 2016 season, please mail your membership fee payment and page 25 of the Wisconsin Ice VBC 2106 Handbook to Wisconsin Ice VBC, Jay Johnson, 2501 Springville Drive, Plover, WI 54467. The payment and Handbook form must be received by Wisconsin Ice before the first practice, which is on November 29, for all players.

The practice schedule will be posted on the Wisconsin Ice website as soon as it is finalized by the coaches and the directors. You should be contacted by your coaches before your first practice.

Thank you for your patience with the Tryout process and we look forward to a fun and successful season for all of the Wisconsin Ice teams.

We hope that you all had a chance to view and try on the spiritwear at the Wisconsin Ice tryouts last weekend. That is the only place that we display the Ice offerings for spiritwear. Several people had asked if they could still get the tournament bag that we have offered the last couple of years; therefore we will be offering this purple/black/white tournament bag with the Wisconsin Ice logo on it for $37. It has been added to the revised spiritwear order form under the spiritwear tab on this website. If you are using the form that you picked up at tryouts, then just fill in the information that is on the new form for your order. Please see the picture and description below of the tournament bag.

We look forward to seeing all of you at the Wisconsin Ice Tryouts this weekend, November 14 & 15, at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School. Any questions should be directed by e-mail message to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
